The mission of H.O.M.E.S. Academy is to provide highly motivated, developmentally challenged lifetime learners a seamless transition from high school to independent community living through education, life skills, personal development, vocational, and recreational training.
H.O.M.E.S. will own and operate one residential home and assist others in replicating the H.O.M.E.S. concept and program in their community. The H.O.M.E.S. concept is a unique family and community based initiative designed to meet the long term needs of the challenged family members who would otherwise need a state facility at some point.
Families who have made the commitment to care for their loved ones have the vision of caring for them long term, when in reality, the fact remains that they will have to make alternative plans at some point. H.O.M.E.S. is a proactive approach to the care of challenged family members, which offers a holistic program under one service provider and offers the challenged individuals the opportunity to invest in their future and life as well as contribute to their community.
